Brighton and Back moved to Wordpress

Just a short post to let you know that Brighton and Back is now on Wordpress: http://brightonandback.com.
As the domain was previously switched onto my Blogger account, it's not available via the www at the moment, however, that should change within the next few days (maximum of 48 hours) as well.
Nothing else has changed and I hope you're still gonna follow me over there. ;)

I'm moving to Wordpress

Good evening my loves, how are you today?

I just wanted to let you know that I'm moving my blog to self-hosted Wordpress - yes, I'm finally taking that step after moaning about it for ages. Therefore, I'll be on a very short posting hiatus. I'm planning to have everything looking pretty, up and running by Monday 3rd November which should give me enough time to move everything and create a lovely theme for Brighton and Back.

I also bought a few new domains. The blog's main domain will be www.brightonandback.com; however, I'm still using the German domain www.brightonandback.de and registered www.brightonandback.co.uk which will all be in use as of Monday.

Hope you're gonna have a scary Halloween and enjoy your weekend and I'll see you on Monday!

Hello my loves, how are you today?

Have you read any of Cecelia Ahern's books? I'm such a big fan of hers and so far got all of her books. I must admit I haven't had the time to read the last two though, life just got too busy but that still leaves another eight of her books that I absolutely adored. I am such a girl. My favourite one was Where Rainbows End (known as either Rosie Dunne or Love, Rosie in the US), so you can imagine how excited I was when a few months back I found out that someone finally made good use of the film rights and started producing a movie.

Hello my loves, how are you today?

I apologise for taking ages to post the photos of my little photoshoot back in September. I decided to use some of them for my mum's birthday present and I wasn't too sure how regularly she was gonna have a peek at this blog, so I kept postponing this post just to make sure I didn't spoil any surprises.
Thanks again to my lovely friend Lizzy who's taken the time to try and snap some decent photos of me. If any of you are a bit more interested in what else she's doing in the whole big world of photography, just check out her website Lisa-Heidenbluth.de. For the photography enthusiasts amongst you: all photos were taken with a Nikon D300 and a 17-55mm f/2.8 Nikon lens.

Hello my loves, how are you today?

I have recently got a hold of Cineworld's Unlimited movies cards and let me tell you, I'm a very happy bunny because of that. Back when I was in Brighton, going to the cinema became some quite of retreat for me when the host family situation got a tiny bit out of hand and I couldn't handle all the yelling in the house anymore. It kind of stuck with me and might seem a bit weird to some but here in the UK I actually prefer going to the movies on my own. No compromising when it comes to the kind of movie, no one judging me for wanting to watch really terrible movies and above all I do get some me time as well. Not gonna lie, I'm just loving it. The Unlimited card comes for just £16.40 a month which excludes the Westend theatres here in London and you can watch as many films as you like and even get a cheeky 10% off popcorn and the likes.
Anyway, as I finally (after 3 years of meaning to apply for it) have my Unlimited card there's gonna be a weekly feature called Movie Time which will review the movies that I've watched.
